School Data Processing Agreement
Version 2026-10-18 · Accepted by the head teacher (or proprietor) when creating a school in TeacherBridge → My school.
This agreement is between the school (the data controller) and TeacherBridge, run by Wilberforce K. Osei (the data processor), under Ghana's Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843).
1. What TeacherBridge processes for the school
Staff display names and roles; the head teacher's email if they choose to sign in with email; the lesson notes teachers submit; submission times; comments; approval decisions and approval records. Purpose: weekly lesson-note submission, vetting and the school's records. No learner (pupil) data is to be submitted.
2. The school's responsibilities
- Tell staff that My school is used and what the head teacher will see (the app also shows each teacher a consent notice when they join).
- Only invite staff of the school; remove staff who leave (make a new school code).
- Decide how long records are kept (default 3 years) and ask for export or deletion when needed.
3. TeacherBridge's responsibilities
- Process the data only to provide My school for the school, and on the school's instructions.
- Keep it confidential, protect it with access controls (each teacher sees only their own submissions; approvers see their school's) and encrypted connections.
- Use only the sub-processor listed below and tell the school before adding another.
- Tell the school without undue delay about any security incident affecting its data, and help it meet its own duties, including notifying the Data Protection Commission and affected people.
- Help the school answer staff requests to see, correct or delete their information (reply within 40 days).
- At the end of the service, or on request, export the school's data (PDF and CSV) and then delete it.
4. Sub-processor and location
Supabase (database and sign-in), servers in Frankfurt, Germany (European Union).
